Aurelia Montoya, Process Engineer
I am the process engineer for the metal etching department at Elcon. I love knowing that as an engineer, products I help develop and create have a positive impact on people’s lives. As a Latina engineer, I think it’s important to bring different ideas and experiences into the spaces I work in. Some advice I’d like to give anyone who wants to be an engineer is that if you’re passionate and put in an effort to learn you will succeed. And to the future women engineers, you deserve to be in these spaces and you belong.
Chris Hood, Chemical Process Engineer
As a Chemical Process Engineer at Elcon Precision LLC my role is to understand, maintain, and improve all chemical processes associated with production of parts in our metal products division, as well as help aid in gaining a better understanding of metal properties to find the most suitable material for production. This role works well with my fascination of chemistry and desire for always seeking improvement in my field of work.
