Elcon will be exhibiting and presenting a technical paper at IEEE-IVEC in Monterey, California, October 26-29, 2020.
Our technical paper will discuss the challenges of optical CMM characterization of key features on etched TWT cathode grids. It will focus on spherical radius determination and discuss overall manufacturing capabilities now that optical CMMs have replaced older inspection methods used to verify grid dimensional attributes.
You’ll be able to see our custom photochemically machined parts and brazed ceramic to metal assemblies made using our atmospheric and vacuum furnaces. Photochemical machining materials we process include refractory materials such as molybdenum, tungsten, and titanium as well as standard metals such as copper, gold, beryllium, stainless steel, Inconel and others. Ceramic materials we process include alumina, beryllia, aluminum nitride, zirconia, and others.
We are ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D and ITAR certified.
