In the Spring of 2021, Elcon and a group of UC Davis students from Professor Subhash Risbud's EMS 188 course collaborated to investigate discoloration of high-calcia alumina. Over a three month period, the team conducted research, generated computational models and predictions, and ran multiple experiments on site to help Elcon improve our materials processing performance. We had a blast and appreciated this wonderful opportunity to work with such a talented and brilliant group of students!
